A teacher, Steve Deam, from whom I learned a lot of COBOL at UW-Milwaukee 10 years ago died last week. One of my fellow MICAP students told me about it today.

Sorry to hear that. I loved having Steve as a teacher in the '80s. He was fun and energetic and made learning fun and collaborative. He called me the OJ kid 'cause I brought orange juice to class a lot.
